Debra "Debby" Rapozo

Co-Founder & President
Debra Rapozo is a wife, mom, and business professional. She brings 20 years of business management to the organization. She has also worked for several non-profits and served on various boards. She comes from a military family and is married to the Vice-President and Co-Founder.

Debra was the receipent of the 2025 Grand Junction Lions VClub Hometwon Hero Award and is a Honored Listee for 2025 in Marquis Who's Who.

Andrew "Drew" Rapozo

Co-Founder & Vice President
​Andrew Rapozo is a disabled USAF veteran, social worker, a husband, and a step-father. He earned his Master's in Social Work from Metropolitan State University. He and his wife decided to begin Collar of Duty shortly after adopting his second dog, Freyja. They found that there were long waits and not many resources locally to get service dogs to Veterans.
Heather Conway

Secretary
Heather Conway is the wife and caregiver for a disabled Navy Veteran, and comes from a family with strong ties to military service. She has a background in advocacy for organizations and has spent the last decade advocating for her veteran husband. This journey developed an understanding of many of the challenges veterans and their caregivers face. She loves this country and those who have volunteered themselves to preserve our freedom. Her desire is to help other veterans connected with Collar of Duty.

Dog Training Supervisor
Our Dog Training Supervisor is a volunteer who coordinates the pairing of appropriate resuces with veterans, based on the training needed for each veteran.

Nathan Rudolph

General Board Member #1
Nathan Rudolph is a United States Army Veteran and comes from a family deeply rooted in military service. His personal journey, which led him to Colorado after his service, has been marked by a profound dedication to advocating for and assisting his fellow Veterans. His passion is fueled by a deep understanding of the challenges Veterans face, and his mission is to ensure they receive the care and support they deserve. Rudolph currently supports the entire board, being a helping hand where needed. Upon filling all positions of the board, his role will primarily be to support the President and Vice President as needed.
Freyja

Mascot
Freyja is the orginal service dog that started it all. She is owned by Andrew Rapozo our Vice-President.
